SPRA Appoints New Development Director

The Board of the SPRA are pleased to advise the appointment of James Talman of Talman Associates to spearhead their new business plan from the 1st May 2012. James has over 20 years experience at MD level in the single ply industry. His experience covers both supply and contracting in the sector across a broad range of polymers in the UK and abroad. As a former Chairman of SPRA, James reconstituted the association in 2000 to its own independent operation.

This programme includes broader representation of membership, enhanced membership benefits, establishment of a centre of technical excellence, a nationwide apprenticeship scheme and lobbying appropriate bodies on behalf of the members. He will work closely with Jim Hooker, Technical Director and report to the SPRA Chairman Mike Crook.
